Hopes Uganda is a non-profit organization providing food, shelter, and education to approximately 70 orphaned children in Mbale, Uganda. In 2021, Mr. Tasker had a chance meeting with Ngobi Samuel who has dedicated his life caring for these children following his father's untimely passing in 2020.
Attorney Tasker travelled for the first time to Mbale, Uganda in November 2024, where he was able to donate and raise funds to buy 8 new bunk beds complete with mattresses, sheets and blankets, and other needs.
Tasker Law donates a percentage of its profits to Hope Uganda and is a Board Member.
One of the most impactful takeaways from this trip is how the children were always smiling -- no matter what. They were smiling long before I arrived. Tasker Law just hopes to continue to make their lives just a little easier.
One of the many needs for Hopes Uganda is the kitchen project. We are upgrading the kitchen and are going to ultimately have long, beautiful tables for the children to sit while they eat. It is quite rainy in Mbale and difficult to eat on the ground when it gets muddy.
Through generous contributions from my colleagues, friends and family, I was able to get 8 new bunk beds constructed for the children, complete with mattresses and sheets! This video shows the ingenuity of getting everything to the compound...
